get an old washcloth. take it out of the washing machine and hang to dry outside. leave it for at least a week (so it gets hard) then scrub your wet face with it.
this is what my gramma did for years and had the most beautiful skin immaginable until the day she died. i do micro because i have the machine ($5,000). her way is a lot cheaper, mine is faster. What's a better (deeper) method of exfoliation besides microdermabrasion?
There are deeper peels out there, like a TCA, that exfoliate deeper than microdermabrasion. You can also use peels in conjunction with microdermabrastion to get a more substantial effect.
You can also go www.SignatureForum.com, a site that rates providers of procedures like micro and peels and go to one of the listed providers to get a more detailed program. What's a better (deeper) method of exfoliation besides microdermabrasion?
If you want to exfoliate your body and not your face, I'd use a sugar scrub. You can make your own really easily with raw sugar, or even regular white or brown sugar, a good oil, like olive or sesame and some essential oils or extracts for smell. Just get in the tub and slather it on, it even works well on feet. For your face this would probably be too rough, but I have done white sugar, which has finer particles and honey mixed and just applied it sparingly and gently, to great results. I try to use the approach of, don't put anything on your body you wouldn't put in your body, after all, skin is very porous and absorbant.
