Blackheads are the result of the sebum (oil) that your skin produces naturally and oxygen. When bacteria mixes in with it, you get a pimple. Most people have blackheads to some extent.
Don't over do the exfoliation. Once a week is enough. Find a gentle wash, Cetaphil is a good OTC one. Use it AM %26amp; PM. Remove all makeup every night. Once a week, clean your skin, exfoliate and steam - you can do all this in the shower. When you get out, apply a clay based mask to the areas that have blackheads - you can do your whole face is your skin is oily. Leave on for about 10 minutes and then rinse off with cool water. Use a good water-based moisturizer every day. If your skin is too dry (and exfoliating 3x a week can make it dry), it will only keep on producing more oil in an attempt to keep hydrated. Don't use rubbing alcohol or anything harsh. And if you use makeup, choose mineral makeup but make SURE that 'talc' isn't one of the ingredients. That is a huge pore-clogger. Also, use sunscreen or a moisturizer with sunscreen, daily. Does exfoliation 3 times a week really help get rid of blackheads?
You will never really get RID of blackheads. Every time you scrub you clean and reduce the pore size but the pores have already been stretched so will go back and fill up again. You can thou prevent them from getting bigger by regular cleansing .Scrubbing 3 times might be to much as this can over dry your skin, therefor your skin will produce to much oil to compensate. 2 times is plenty, Depending on the product you use aswell. Finding the right moisturiser for your skin type and using it after cleansing/scrubbing will stop your skin from producing the unwanted oil and making more black heads. In other words moisture is important dont let your skin dry out this can make it worse.
it depends on the skin type you have..
it should work for you, but if it doesnt see a dermatologist..
you can also buy other black head washes and that..
Dont pick at them!
