I'm planning a vacation and am interested in a spa treatment while on it. Is it safe to get a body exfoliation treatment, then be in the sun?Is it safe to have a body exfoliation, then sit in the sun?
yea it's actually really good to exfoliate before you tan, BUT you should do it in the beginning of the vacation because if you get a nice tan and then exfoliate it will fade your tan alot because it removes all the dead skin cells (which are the ones with the tan). And also, after you exfoliate be careful in the sun and maybe use a higher SPF then you normally do because the new skin that will be exposed will have less of a base, and you may burn easier... have fun on vacation:)Is it safe to have a body exfoliation, then sit in the sun?
After exfoliation you would want to protect your baby fresh skin with lots of moisturizer and sunscreen. It is best to stay away from the sun for at least 24 hours after exfoliation. In this way your skin stays wonderful longer!
just ask the professionals when you get there!
if you cant, just get it at the end of vacation :)
You will need a heavy duty sunblock, SPF 50 or over. New skin is more sensitive to sun rays!
